Volvo Cars wins US approval to keep importing, selling vehicles with 'connected car' technology May 26 (Reuters) - Volvo Cars VOLCARb.ST, majority owned by China's Geely Holding, said on Tuesday it had received authorization from the U.S. government allowing it to continue importing and selling vehicles with Chinese "connected technology" in the country.
The authorization has been granted under upcoming rules that prohibit key Chinese software and hardware in connected vehicles on American roads.
